Key Navagraha Information

The worship of Bholenath is of course the paramount activity, but dalliance with the Navagraha can be a fun "side quest" within the Sanatan Dharma framework. Yogananda has confirmed in his autobiography that certain astrological gems can bring some relief in various life areas to devotees. I would caution folks, however, that bad karma must be "paid for" in one way or another, so although a gem may delay or temporarily ease some negative aspects of life to smooth things out, in the end you will have to pay the price.

If interested, get your Vedic (Jyotish) astrology chart done, and pay attention to which planets are "malefic" or "debilitated" in your chart. If malefic, you can wear the stones of their enemies. If debilitated, you can wear that deity's stone on the appropriate finger, as well as elsewhere on your person. In my case, I purposely wear the stones of my malefic planets so that I can burn through my bad karma as fast and possible and grab the maximum punya, but I would not recommend this approach for the faint of heart. If you don't have access to in-person Vedic astrologers where you are, there are many good ones on Fiverr, and options for more upper-echelon analysis.

For Shaivites, I would highlight three devas to focus on who are known to be close to Him:

Shani

Shani (Saturn) was born from light and darkness, and was cast aside by his father Surya due to illegitimacy. He is an underdog who built himself to prominence through devotion and austerity for Bholenathji.

Shukracharya

Shukracharya (Venus) was somewhat scorned by Sage Angiras, his Guru, in favor of Brihaspati (planet Jupiter above, who is Angiras' son), and so he is a bit of an underdog as well. While Brihaspati went on to become the guru of the demigods, Shukra went on to become the guru of the demons, though not a demon himself, out of spite. He is associated with wealth, beauty, and splendor, and performed legendary tapasya for Bholenathji to obtain the mantra which brings celestial beings back to life.

Chandra

This one is simple and beautiful. Chandra, the Moon, is on Shivji's person at all times.
